about xcap

Dear Sir,

when I installed the xcap server there is one error we got in database.py file in line no 274 ......after made needed changes again I run the script

using python setup.py install command but their is no openxcap folder build in /etc/openxcap as you mention in your "how to install file " I have already installed zope interface as well as twisted framework .

now when we run /etc/init.d/openxcap start command it is showing error

[root@localhost init.d]# /etc/init.d/openxcap start Starting OpenXCAP server: openxcap/etc/init.d/openxcap: line 36: start-stop-daemon: command not found

I have been made all changes in config.ini as per document .

Please tell me where I am wrong.

start-stop-dameon is a default component of the debian Linux distribution. If this application is not present on your system you are probably not using debian Linux. As OpenXCAP was specifically designed to run on debian, we can only suppport this distribution of Linux.
