how to install open xcap server without debian.

Hi all,

The following are the things i tired out. openxcap-0.9.7]#python setup.py build openxcap-0.9.7]#python setup.py install openxcap-0.9.7]#./openxcap

when i run the ./openxcap its simply exits without starting the service , i also installated python application.

please any one help me to install openxcap server.

Hi,

Please be advised that debian is the only Linux distribution we can support, as this is the platform on which we developed and tested OpenXCAP.

OpenXCAP has a number of dependencies which are listed in the documentation. You should install each of them.

python-application will daemonize OpenXCAP and it will print any output to the syslog. If OpenXCAP dies you can probably read any error messages there.

Hi, which version debian i can use to install open xcap server.

And also i have installed all the dependencies.
